Body conversion Joest LM96/97 =>
Porsche IMSA Prototype 1995
- Front lid extensively shortened + shape altered (rounded)
- offset airbox milled out and placed centrally (a lot of putty needed!)
- complete rear deck inc. rear parts of fenders converted to original Jaguar XJR14 appearence.
- complete cockpit surround incl. Encased frontal rollbar milled off
- new vacform for do-it-yourself screen made + vacformed + cut to fit + mattblack from inside
- original r.h. Filler cap closed, new elliptical IMSA-filler cap (recessed) l.h. Side
- new mirrors on front wings
- all louvres on front wings removed, filled and sanded
- altered rear bonnet, panel lines engraved, kit's ones filled
- four plastic new rods forward and rear to main rollbar
- headrest from original kit's single part removed
- original rollbar extension rearward milled off
- new rear wing endplates with “trailing edge” bent outwards
- etched wing elements replaced with resin ones
- extinguisher + electric switch added
- front alu lip/splitter and small rectangular inlet under “Porsche” decal
- front tow hook (none in kit's etch parts set)
- do-it-yourself decals measured/scaled: Porsche, small TWR sticker and number 35

rear wing positioned further forward by aperture in rear deck end + bulge for fog light modelled
- eight holes for bonnet fasteners (in fact nothing visible except silver holes)
- new rear lights beneath rear deck lid (inside)
